UNTITLED - Chapter One

Our story begins on a crisp autumn morning, deep in the forest. Right next to a tree. This tree wasn’t an extraordinary one; rather it was quite normal as trees come. But it was special.

It knew.

From the earliest moments of its life as an acorn it began to understand the world that it was brought into, and it was greatly saddened by the reality of it. Perhaps if the men who dominated all things would learn about compassion then it wouldn’t have been such a bad place. The truth, however, was that things had long since gotten out of hand, and there was no one that could make it better.
